In these pictures we used a 2.5" rod and mounted the hardware on either side of the windows. The rod pocket was disguised with twisted cording and the valance with inverted pleats hung from there.

There is no room to hang hardware above my window.
In these pictures we used a 2.5" rod and mounted the hardware on either side of the windows. The rod pocket was disguised with twisted cording and the valance with inverted pleats hung from there.
